The options for walking and biking at any level from the door or within a short drive are unlimited. There is plenty to do in the local area with Whinlatter Visitor Centre just a few minutes drive away. Facilities include a cafe, bike hire, live Osprey nest video camera (May-Aug) as well as the Go-Ape! high ropes course. Cockermouth is a 10-minute drive away and is home to the Jennings Brewery, which runs a tour for any beer lovers, and Wordsworth House, the birth place of the famous Lakeland poet. Keswick is a 15-minute drive away. Here you can enjoy boating on Derwentwater or visit the bustling town centre with its array of shops, museums, and eateries. The shower features a luxurious rain head or more invigorating power head. The garden is enclosed and accessed 2 metres from the door. It is very private and has lovely views to the local fells.
