Lindisfarne is a beautifully presented, terraced cottage located in the popular old quarter of Seahouses. The picturesque harbour, village amenities, shops, restaurants, bars and local attractions are just a short walk from the front door and from here, you are within easy walking distance of the lovely, sandy beach. In the village there are a wide range of amenities including some excellent restaurants, friendly bars and a variety of shops including craft and souvenir shops. Take a boat trip to The Farne Islands to see the seals and puffins or drive across the causeway to visit the Holy island of Lindisfarne after which the cottage is named. The cottage has spacious living accommodation for up to five people with plenty of modern facilities and thoughtful touches to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The accommodation is bright and spacious with homely touches throughout. The newly fitted kitchen contains everything you will need to prepare tasty meals for the family. Cuddle up on the comfortable sofas in front of the log burner and watch your favourite film. There is also a downstairs WC. Upstairs you will find two well appointed bedrooms, the master bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed and plenty of storage. The second bedroom contains a double bed with separate single, ideal for children or families. Finally, the family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. There are numerous coastal paths and walks you can enjoy while staying at Lindisfarne. Try the walk along the coastal path to Bamburgh with its imposing castle set high above the golden, sandy beach and a beautiful village with more fantastic eateries and independent shops to explore. In the other direction, head to beautiful Beadnell Bay and its crescent shaped beach where you can picnic in the dunes watching the water sports and kite flying or take a stroll to blow away the cobwebs. There is allocated parking for one car in the shared courtyard.

Newton Halt South is just a couple of miles from two of the best beaches on the Northumberland Heritage Coast and a short walk to a welcoming local pub and shop. Low Newton by the Sea boasts the much-acclaimed Ship Inn which serves great seafood and has its own micro-brewery. Nearby is the award-winning Joiners Arms gastro pub from where you can walk to another amazing three miles of white sand which forms Beadnell Bay. Five miles south, Craster village and harbour has always been famous for its kippers but is now also equally well know for The Jolly Fisherman Pub and restaurant which sits on the edge of the sea and so, has fantastic views. These, like most of the pubs in Northumberland, are child and dog friendly. From Seahouses you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands where puffins and seals abound but where dolphins are also regularly seen. Just 15 minutes drive is Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens but also a regular outdoor market, four supermarkets and local shops. Outside there is an enclosed dog-friendly garden which gets the sun most of the day and right into the evening. There is little light pollution and so the dark skies are truly spectacular for star gazing! There is direct access to countryside and woodland walks, with abundant wildlife to be spotted, sometimes even from the comfort of the leather sofa. There is off-road parking for two cars and a shed to store beach stuff and bicycles. The cottage is situated off a small, private, cul-de-sac. This cottage also welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. Countryfile Magazine has just awarded Embleton Bay, Beach of the Year Larger Groups: If you’re holidaying with a larger party (up to 10 guests), Newton Halt South has a sister cottage which sleeps up to 4 and is located next door. PLEASE NOTE: Newton Halt lies adjacent to the railway line and about 100 yards from a level crossing with services up until about 11pm. However, the cottage has modern sound and thermal insulation and its price sensibly reflect its situation. Not withstanding its location with field and woodland views on the beautiful Northumberland Heritage coastline.

Situated in the heart of traditional, historic Seahouses, Puffin Cottage is located just a few steps from the bustling harbour in this truly picturesque seaside village. The main street is just a short stroll away where you can find a wide variety of shops, friendly pubs and restaurants. If you want to explore the area, there is so much to see and do. You can catch one of the many boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands to see local wildlife such as puffins and seals and you can take a drive along the beautiful coast road to explore Bamburgh village with its magnificent castle, cross the causeway to Holy Island, spend time on the beautiful beach at Beadnell, followed by lunch in one of the great places to eat there, drive a little south to Craster and see the charming harbour and walk the coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle remains, play golf with breath-taking views and take a beach walk at Low Newton followed by lunch and a drink in the excellent inn which also boasts its own microbrewery! The two bedrooms, one of which has a super-king-size bed and a Smart TV, are located on the first floor, along with the family bathroom on a three quarter landing. The cosy lounge has a log burning stove set in an original stone fire place, the ideal place to relax and plan your holiday adventures. There are two very comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player and Wi-Fi. The stove and electric radiators mean the cottage stays warm, whatever the weather.
