Wroxham is also less than 8 miles away, home to shops, restaurants and a number of boatyards where you can hire a boat and cruise the 125 miles of lock-free Broads. For a traditional day at the seaside try Cromer, 17 miles, with its sandy beach and Victorian pier, or Sheringham, 21 miles, where you can catch a steam train to the Georgian market town of Holt.
