1 Bedroom Bed in Wroxham (87414)

A romantic bolthole for two, this fabulous property blends traditional charm with modern comforts – you’ll love its magnificent, beamed ceilings and brick detailing. A central location makes getting around incredibly easy, whether you fancy a trip to the seaside, a cruise on the water or a day of shopping and culture. This delightful bungalow is filled with light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling French doors in both its lounge and bedroom. The open-plan living space, with feature brick wall, combines comfortable seating around a TV at one end with a kitchen at the other, plus a central dining table. It’s a welcoming and comfortable space in which to kick back and relax. All on the same level, you also have a spacious double bedroom and a bright bathroom. The enclosed garden outside the property, shared with three other cottages, has a private patio with a bistro dining set for those warm days when you want to take a drink or a meal into the sunshine. There’s also a sweet summerhouse and some paths which take you wandering around the owner’s grounds - where you may even meet their friendly sheep! The village of Hainford has a traditional thatched pub with excellent food and is only around 7 miles from Norwich, the most complete medieval city in the UK, with a stunning Norman cathedral and castle, lots of independent shops and a variety of lively restaurants. Wroxham is also less than 8 miles away, home to shops, restaurants and a number of boatyards where you can hire a boat and cruise the 125 miles of lock-free Broads. For a traditional day at the seaside try Cromer, 17 miles, with its sandy beach and Victorian pier, or Sheringham, 21 miles, where you can catch a steam train to the Georgian market town of Holt.

Holly Cottage Hainford is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
