Nuckwell Cottage enjoys a peaceful and secluded setting bordered by fields and cider orchards where sheep and cattle graze. With many original features such as slate floors and beamed ceilings, Nuckwell Cottage is full of character but also enjoys modern comforts such as a log burner, wifi and central heating. There is a newly built games barn adjacent, complete with table tennis table and swingball, and a fantastic tree swing hanging from a beautiful old oak tree. Located within walking distance of the village of Churchstow with a popular 13th century Inn, post office and village store, and a short drive brings you to the glorious sandy beaches of Bantham, Thurlestone and Bigbury on Sea, Nuckwell Cottage is perfectly situated to provide the perfect base for couples and families to enjoy all the South Hams has to offer.
Accommodation: Ground floor entrance leads into the farmhouse kitchen diner with electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Dining table to seat five, Bluetooth radio & MP3 player. Lounge with natural slate floor, two sofas, wall-mounted flat screen TV and DVD player, log burner, door to the front lawn. Utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. Ground floor family bathroom with bath and hand held shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC. First floor: Bedroom 1: 5ft King sized bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers, garden views. Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds, wardrobe and dressing table, TV, french windows leading to secluded paved patio, perfect for a morning coffee al fresco. Bedroom 3: 3ft single bed, wardrobe and garden views. Family bathroom with power shower, Basin and WC.
