This fabulous property, providing high quality accommodation in the heart of Lyme Regis is easy walking distance to all amenities in the picturesque seaside town.  Refurbished with a very generous living area, bedrooms with sea views and a modern ‘home from home’ feel, it is perfectly suited to a wonderful holiday in the heart of the Jurassic Coast.  The added benefit of a patio area and furniture for the warmer climes along with lawned garden makes it the perfect holiday property.  Ammonite's position couldn’t be more ideal and if you wish to park and forget the car it's an easy, quick walk to the promenade, beach and town.

This superb house is situated in a very convenient part of Lyme Regis which makes it the perfect base from which to explore the World Heritage Coast.  The nearby local Museum displays artefacts related to the town’s literary connections and provides a crash course in local history, its geology, and of course Mary Anning’s story.
Foodies should head to the nearby Town Mill Complex in Mill Lane, just off Coombe Street, where as well as a working mill, pottery, art gallery, local brewery and café/tearooms there is an energetic River walk.  Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent UNESCO Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby.

Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location.  There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. Of course, there are also loads of smaller events happening as well!
