Nestled in the bay of Inner Hope, 2A Coastguard Cottage is one of five traditional cottages built back in the 1850's. Located just 100 metres from the water's edge, this newly renovated, cosy cottage, makes for the perfect holiday destination. A few minutes walk away, takes you to the heart of Hope Cove, where you'll find sandy beaches, a village shop, several eateries and a busy vibrant pub. 

An outside seating area allows you and your family to relax with a glass of your favourite tipple whilst watching the sun go down or simply sit and soak up the morning sun with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Holding on to the tradition of old cottages, there is an outbuilding at the rear of the property, providing an extra WC and shower. Perfect for washing off sand and sun cream from a fun day at the beach! There is also a parking space for one car, with more parking available in the village. Allowing one dog, this cottage is perfect for families or couples to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.

The Southwest Coastal path is right on your doorstep, with Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth all within easy reach. They offer lovely boutique shops, scenic walks and a choice of lovely restaurants and pubs.

*Given both the staircases are steeper than average, this cottage would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

A paved area at the front of the property which has seating, a barbeque and a small, grassed area.

There is one space per property in the allocated parking area.

Kitchen fully equipped kitchen, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. 
Sitting room 3-person sofa, armchair, day chair, TV, electric wall heater, door to outside space.

First floor: 
Bedroom 1 with 5ft King size bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail, electric wall heater.
Bedroom 2 with 2ft 6" bunk beds, chest of drawers, electric heater.
Family bathroom bath with handheld shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 3 with 2ft 6" twin beds, chest of drawers, bedside table, skylight with water views when open.

Outside:

Outside shower and separate outside toilet.

  • Included: Bed linen and towels, (guests must provide their own beach towels), electric heating.
  • Telephone: Wi-Fi Mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. 
  • Pets: One well behaved pet welcome. (Pet charge £30.00 per week).
  • Electric Vehicles: Please note this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.
  • Short Breaks: Short breaks available in the low and mid season only.
