Owl Barn is a delightful, semi-detached barn conversion situated opposite a courtyard from a farm in Devon, two and a half miles from Tavistock. The property is set solely on the ground floor with wide doorways and a wet room. There is a bedroom with a king-size bed and access to the patio outside and an additional double bedroom with an en-suite. As well as a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and doors onto the patio. The patio and lawn outside are for the private use of the cottage only and enclosed, with stunning far-reaching to Dartmoor in the distance. There is also off road parking for two cars. In a lovely base for walking, cycling and exploring this fantastic corner of Devon, Owl Barn is perfect for families and larger groups as it can be booked with the property next door.

Tavistock is an award-winning, market town resting on the south-west slopes of Dartmoor. Here, you will find an indoor market, a range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema. Close by is the port city of Plymouth with its Barbican Quay and the Historic Royal William Yard. Moreover, the surfing beaches of Devon and North Cornwall are all within an hour’s drive.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
