Miner’s Rest is a stone-built, semi-detached cottage located in the lovely, Cornish village of Troon. It boasts two bedrooms, a double and a twin, sleeping four people in total, followed by a family bathroom. There is also an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, along with a sitting room featuring a woodburning stove. To the outside is an enclosed rear garden with a lawned area, outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Miner’s Rest promises a revitalising holiday in a superb region of Cornwall.
Perched within Mid-West Cornwall, is the village of Troon, a Cornish Mining World Heritage Site, housing a small number of local businesses, a Post Office, a shop and a pub. Within two miles is the town of Camborne and further afield is the Godrevy Heritage Coast, which is perfect for scenic walks and picnics. Alternatively, you will find the famous harbour of St. Ives, where you can sample award-winning restaurants, enjoy the beach or walk along the coastal path towards Land’s End.
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
