Yardarm is a delightful, spacious period town house, situated on Devon Road in Salcombe, within easy access of Courtenay Park, Salcombe town centre and its famous waterfront. The property sleeps eight people in four bedrooms with one family bathroom, shower room, and a further shower cubicle and w.c. with basin in the utility room. There is a contemporary kitchen, and a light and airy lounge/dining room, as well as a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer (plus shower). Outside there is off road parking for up to four cars, as well as a balcony with patio table and four chairs, accessed by the ground floor bedrooms. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at an additional charge of £25.00.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
