Orchard Barn is in a quiet rural position, close to the head of Batson Creek, and about a 15 minute walk to the shops and quayside in Salcombe. The property accommodates five people in three bedrooms (one master en suite double, one double and one single), and has a family bathroom and cloakroom. There is also a lounge with open fire, and kitchen with dining area. Outside is a rear courtyard with furnished patio, and parking for three cars. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat within easy reach of Salcombe’s amenities, this could be the perfect accommodation.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

Strictly No Smoking New for 2024 The owner has replaced all of the Sofas and chairs in the lounge along with the lounge carpet. They have also replaced the 2 King size beds.
