The Daffodil Shed is a lovely detached cottage situated by the village of Bere Alston, Devon. Hosting one king-size bedroom, and a shower room, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area, all set-up as a studio accommodation. To the outside is off-road parking, and a lawned garden with a patio. Resting in a wonderful location near the owner's home, The Daffodil Shed is a vibrant retreat in a charming part of England. One pet welcome at an additional charge of £25. Note: Bookings must commence on a Friday or Monday, please be aware your booking may need to be cancelled if you make your booking starting on any other day of the week.

Just upstream from Bere Alston on the river Tamar is Morwellam Quay, a tiny harbour where half the world’s copper travelled through in the 1860s, and which is now a popular visitor attraction telling the story of copper mining through history. Trains run between Bere Alston and Plymouth, on the picturesque Tamar Valley line, following the river for much of the route. Bere Alston has a village shop and pub and there are plenty of countryside walks.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
