Gun Hill Cottage sits in among the East Sussex countryside in the village of Heathfield, has three bedrooms; one room hosts a double bed and chest of drawers, with the second having a twin bed layout and the third bedroom has one small single bed.
The Kitchen is set out with a fully fitted in ‘Shaker style’, with oven, electric hob, washing machine, microwave, butler sink and door out to the garden. The L-shaped living room with large leather sofa, armchair, TV, DVD player, brick fireplace containing a wood burning stove and double doors out to patio.
Please note a starter pack of logs, kindling, firelighters and matches is included.
Enclosed, third of an acre of garden with a shallow band of woodland behind the cottage supporting a diversity of wild flowers and bird life, Kidney shaped pond with underwater lighting and statue water feature and lawned areas extending into the woodland beyond Gun Hill Cottage.

One of the Vicinity’s lovely walks is the Wealdway, which meanders around a mile to Chiddingly, a classic English village with church, pub (The Six Bells), cricket field and street of delightful cottages. Horam Manor is about one mile to the north and offers fishing, nature trails, riding lessons, and pottery painting, while for keen golfers there are courses at Horam Park (one mile) and Wellshurst (three miles).
With many quaint, seaside and market towns, historic sites and miles of glorious coastline to explore, Sussex has it all for a great holiday destination.
