Newbiggin Cottage is a wonderfully presented chocolate-box cottage situated near the Blanchland village of Northumberland enveloped by stunning countryside. Boasting three bedrooms; a single, a king-size double and a king-size double with zip/link beds, it can sleep five people. Inside also comprises a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen, utility, dining room with open fire and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off-road parking for two cars and a wild garden across the road with seating. Newbiggin Cottage is a delightful retreat in a beautiful area of Northumberland.

Blanchland straddles the Northumberland and Durham border in the North Pennines AONB. Built with stones from the remains of the 12th century Blanchland Abbey, the village boasts a scene worthy of the setting choice for Catherine Cookson's novels. Take the time to pay the Lord Crewe Arms a visit, it offers a wide selection of food and drink. Bordered by countryside the village offers walking opportunities. Nearby the village of Edmundbyers comprises a village green, a Wesleyan Chapel, pub, restaurant and deli. Nestled in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area boasts stone walls, moorland and waterfalls, a welcoming haven for plants and animals, al to be explored.
