2 Brook Cottages is a chalet-style cottage in a row of three within the small complex of Thornlea Mews in the Devon seaside village of Hope Cove. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a king size with dressing room, and a twin, all sharing a family shower room. Up four steps is the open plan living space with seating area, dining area, kitchen and countryside views. Outside are two acres of lawn and barbecue area shared with the other cottages in the development, as well as a lawn with picnic tables shared by the three cottages and parking for one car. Just 350 yards from the lovely beach, Coast Path and village shop, 2 Brook Cottages is an excellent neat base for a fun seaside break in South Devon.
Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
