Garreg Ddu is a mid-terrace cottage in the village of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Snowdonia. Hosting two bedrooms: a king-size and a double, serviced by a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor cloakroom. There is a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, a dining area, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is roadside parking on a first-come, first served basis, and a front patio with seating, along with a rear yard. Resting in a charming location with characterful attractions to explore, Garreg Ddu is a wonderful cottage in a historic part of Wales. Note: This property will not accept 2 night stays after May 2025. Note: The owner does not accept short breaks between 12 July and 30th August - minimum stay of 7 nights between these dates which must be from Friday to Friday. Note: This property will not accept 2 night stays after May 2025. Please note: Please inform the owner or us if you are bringing bikes during so we can make the correct arrangements for storage.

The historic slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is situated in a superb, central position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, and has a good selection of amenities. The main local attractions include the slate mines where visitors can take fascinating underground trips to see mining as it was done in days gone by - and the famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway which runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Many glorious local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Two well-behaved dogs welcome (downstairs only), additional dogs by prior arrangement. Please be mindful, if your circumstances change prior to your arrival, please inform the owner or Sykes if you need to amend pets etc (The owner does provide a welcome pack for your fury friends).
