Pigwigs Place is a tranquil cottage converted from a barn on a 120 acre estate a mile from the Devon village of Cornwood. The cottage sleeps six people in a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, with a bathroom and shower room. On the ground floor is an open plan living space with seating area with wood burning stove, dining area and kitchen. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and barbecue and access to the extensive grounds with woodland, gardens, stream and tennis court. A mile from Cornwood, Pigwigs Place is a fine base for an active break in Devon.
The pretty village of Yelverton makes a perfect base for exploring Dartmoor with excellent walking and cycling routes in the area. The 21 mile-long cycling and walking route Drake's Trail, runs through the village and links nearby Tavistock and Plymouth passing through wooded valleys and open moorland.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
