Ayr is a bustling town resting 40 miles away from the city of Glasgow. Within the town you will find a wealth of shops, pubs and eateries, as well as a sandy beach. Here, you will also find the 16th century, Ayr Racecourse which plays host to he Scottish Grand National, the Ayrshire Handicap and the Ayr Gold Cup. Within close reach is the Galloway Forest Park which offers miles of walks amidst dramatic scenery.
