This harbour village is situated beside stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food.
