The historic town of Machynlleth is situated close to the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park, amid the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The town layout retains the 19th Century clock tower as its centre, and the streets offer an interesting mix of cafes, pubs and shops, as well as the market held every Wednesday. There are two art galleries in the town, which is also home to the Museum of Modern Arts, Wales, which stages exhibitions, concerts and lectures. Just ten miles from the coast, Machynlleth is also ideally placed for taking advantage of superb walking, riding, fishing and rock climbing available in the area. For a great day out, visit the Italian village in Corris. Climb the grassy track from Corris village through the woods. Also King Arthur's Laybrinth is a great adventure for all the family.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
