There is a family ground floor shower room. The rest of the cottage contains a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for two cars, lockable bike storage and an enclosed front lawned garden with patio and furniture. Rose Cottage is an ideal base for families and friends looking to explore this wonderful area. This property accepts a minimum of 3 night bookings.

The River Eden meanders through the bottom of the village and this area is famous for canoeing, trout and salmon fishing together with climbing, walking and cycling. Between Lazonby and Armathwaite is the Eden Gorge, one of Cumbria's best kept secrets which is well worth a visit. This village is perfectly placed to discover the stunning scenery and many activities the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes District National Parks have to offer.
