Quarterdeck is perched above Bigbury-on-Sea, near Modbury, directly overlooks Burgh Island and can sleep five people. This single-storey property has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and gardens with a lawn area with furniture. Quarterdeck is a wonderful holiday base, in a beautiful setting. Please note: The property sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child only (5 adults may be accommodated on request). Please note: Although equipped for 5 people, the accommodation best suits no more than 4; for instance, the sitting room has 2 sofas but not an additional armchair; there is 1 bathroom with shower and 1 separate WC.

Modbury is a delightful country town on the edge of the South Hams. Modbury offers quaint tea rooms and shops, good restaurants and cosy pubs. With great walking and cycling opportunities to take advantage of in the wooded valleys and rolling fields, this is an ideal holiday location.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Highchair available but please bring your own travel cot. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned gardens with furniture and croquet set. Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome (not in bedrooms) at a charge of £25 per pet, per stay. Please note: Although most of the garden is fenced (see photos 1, 11 and 17) the drive is not gated (photo 17) ; pets and children should therefore be supervised, even though the road is a quiet no-through road with little traffic. Sorry, no smoking. 300m to the South West Coastal Path with beach just beyond. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Please note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of £300.
