There is a ground floor double room with en-suite, a family room with en-suite and a twin which can be a super king-size double with en-suite. There is a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with doors to the front terrace. There is also ample off road parking. Ghyll Bank Byre makes a wonderful family base for enjoying this beautiful part of the Lakes.

Just five miles from the famous town of Windemere, Staveley is truly in the heart of the Lakelands. This charming village is just a stone's throw from the borders of the Lake District National Park and offers wonderful and scenic opportunities for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts. The village itself is well-served by a number of shops, a trio of pubs and a railway station, offering relaxing rides through the surrounding countryside. Nearby attractions include the famous Lake Windemere, where you can soak up the spectacular panorama from a boat or take a ferry trip to the Lakeside Aquarium or the Grizedale Forest Park. Ambleside, the centre of English mountaineering, is also close by offering visitors the chance to go climbing.
