This character cottage has two bedrooms, a king-size and a double, along with a bathroom, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and for entertainment there is a TV/DVD player, CD player, iPod docking station and WiFi. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard garden, patio furniture, and barbecue, and off-road parking. Fuel, power, logs for the woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop and pub 0.1 miles and the harbour in 0.3 miles. Seahares is a delightful cottage for a family-friendly seaside break.

Seahouses has a good selection of shops as well as inns, pubs, and restaurants. There are miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches nearby, and the opportunity to visit the famous Farne Islands' bird sanctuary or seal colony, with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed.
