Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, and off-road parking. Well-behaved pets welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.9 miles, and pub in 0.2 miles. Enjoy the Bedfordshire countryside at 1 Harpur Cottages. Note: There are steps in the garden; please take care. Please be advised that one of the bedrooms has a slanted ceiling. We kindly ask that you take care when in the room. 3 dogs are welcomed.

Resting in the Bedfordshire County, between Bedford and Colmworth is the village of Ravensden. Within driving distance of the bustling town, brimming with amenities, the village itself also has The Horse & Jockey, serving delicious pub fare, a convenience store, and a village hall, serving both locals and visitors in the area. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the village’s proximity to both Colmworth Golf Club and Mowsbury Golf Course, whilst keen walkers will relish in the chance to explore Hill Rise Local Nature Reserve and Mowsbury Country Park. Travelling into the town of Bedford, spend the afternoon around Priory Lake, enjoying a leisurely stroll around the park before grabbing a slice of cake and fresh coffee at the Cloverdale Retreat, or follow the border of River Ouse to visit one of the museums in the centre, followed by a tipple at a riverside bar. Continuing south, the Chiltern Hills AONB, Luton and the heart of London can be reached, or reroute north with both Northampton and Peterborough well-positioned, for further amenities and attractions to add to your itinerary.
