The tiny linear village of Holmrook is situated on the outskirts of the gorgeous Lake District National Park in the rural area of Cumbria, a highly sought-after region. The hamlet has a convenience store inside of a petrol station, a post office, a bar and restaurant inside of a hotel, as well as all the other amenities needed to make a staycation comfortable. Holmrook, which is perched on the banks of the River Irt, is a great place to take a leisurely stroll while taking in the scenery. For a more ambitious walk, head further afield to scale the difficult peaks of The Lakes! The nearby coastline is adorned with sand, dunes, and charming towns and provides a wealth of chances for strolling and sightseeing. Holmrook is ideally positioned to discover Cumbria's charms on the coast and inland.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Remaining ground floor rooms are as follows. Dining room with sitting for 18 people. Ground floor sitting room with woodburning stove providing setting up to 18 people. There is also a sofa bed in the ground floor sitting room and a Smart TV, selection of books, games, DVD player with DVDs. There is a Ground floor kitchen and a further ground floor kitchenette. The main kitchen has hob/electric oven, microwave, 1 x undercounter fridge, 2 x dishwasher The kitchenette also has an undercounter fridge, electric oven and hob. There is also a utility room that has a tall fridge and tall freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The property has central heating, wifi throughout and bed linen, fuel and power are also included in the rent but guest do need to bring their own towels. Travel cot / highchair available on request. Ample off-road parking for 6 cars. The property also has an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Sorry, NO smoking. 3 well behaved dogs welcome.
