On the banks of the River Dart estuary in South Devon, the colourful harbour community of Kingswear is located opposite Dartmouth. This community, nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has some of the most stunning vistas on the south coast. Coleton Fishacre National Trust Property is a fantastic day out with the family, and Kingswear castle rests on the rocks cradling the sea. The waterfront is a refuge for children, couples, and friends, with plenty of shops, pubs, and peaceful strolls. Take the passenger ferry to Dartmouth and explore one of Devon's most popular tourist destinations. The town's narrow streets are dotted with boutique stores, restaurants, and art galleries, and there are numerous bicycle and walking trails, not to mention the stunning South West Coast Path. The fort at Bayards Cove is a must-see! It is located at the mouth of Dartmouth Harbour and offers a gorgeous location that can only be reached on foot. On the Dartmouth Steam Railway, travel through lovely scenery to Paignton and explore Brixham's picturesque fishing harbour, which is home to Britain's largest fishing fleet. In the South Hams District, you can have a wonderful holiday.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
