Hope Cove is a lovely town in Devon's Bigbury Bay. Two beaches with sandy sand and rock pools are a popular family vacation. The settlement is still a fishing village, but smugglers once frequented it. Shipwrecks off the shore are a popular diving location. Pubs and eateries sit above the beach. From here, the coastal walk runs to Bigbury-on-sea and Salcombe.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
