The nearest town to Land's End is St Just, which is around eight miles west of Penzance. The town is an ancient settlement with a long mining history, with various monuments and prehistoric artefacts to see, notably the Bronze Age settlement near Cape Cornwall. Because of its location on the edge of the moors and near proximity to the magnificent north shore, St Just is a great base for exploring the far west of Cornwall. Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre in the town's centre that was once used for miraculous plays and is now utilised for the Lafrowda Festival.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
