Salcombe, which was previously a significant port, is a popular place for hikers and families seeking a seaside getaway. There are two lovely beaches nearby, North Sands and South Sands, as well as the National Trust property of Overbeck's, where you may meander around the subtropical gardens. Why not spend a more adventurous day and try out some of the activities offered on the estuary, such as surfing, kayaking, or a leisurely boat ride?
