Resting along the scenic North Yorkshire coast is the welcoming seaside village of Staithes, well-known among walkers for its clifftop paths which offer superb views out to the sea and beyond. Within the village you will find a great selection of pubs and restaurants, perfect for grabbing a bite eat after a day at the beach, as well as shops and an RNLI lifeboat station. Staithes also plays host to the annual Art and Heritage Festival, making for a great outing.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
