The open-plan living space includes a kitchen housing an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a sitting area with TV and Freeview, a dining table with seating for six. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a double and a twin, along with a bathroom and shower room. Outside there is a non-enclosed lawned garden and patio with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Within 1.2 miles you will find a shop and pub. Pets are welcome however smoking is not permitted. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Red Deer Cottage is a tranquil retreat for a family looking to explore Exmoor and Somerset. Please note, the garden is not fully enclosed.

The village of Wheddon Cross is located in the heart of Exmoor National Park. This village has everything you could possibly need, including a traditional Post Office with a well-stocked community store and a bustling local bar. Minehead, Dulverton, Watchet, and Porlock are all within easy touring distance and provide wonderful family days out. Exford is at the centre of a walkers paradise and offers many miles of waymarked paths along rivers and through valleys.

Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
