There is also a kitchen/diner and a first-floor sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there is parking available and a small private yard. Swallows Nest is a superb dwelling for a getaway with loved ones.

You'll be at the perfect location to see all that Yorkshire has to offer, including the coast, countryside, and all in between. Whatever your interests or time of year are, there's lots to do in and around the area, from the adjacent North York Moors to its many Blue Flag beaches. With its meandering streets and hidden alleys, Whitby has a delightful ambience with a variety of restaurants and stores sprinkled throughout.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
