Wychwood is a delightful, end-terrace cottage resting in Grosmont, North Yorkshire. Hosting three bedrooms, including a ground-floor double, a twin and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to five people. There is also a kitchen/diner, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a boot room. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a small, sheltered and sunny lawned garden to the front and side with furniture and a barbecue. Wychwood makes a wonderful base for an adventure to North Yorkshire.
Grosmont is a charming village resting within the North York Moors National Park in North Yorkshire. The village lies at the junction of two rivers, Musk Esk and River Esk, surrounded by beautiful moorland scenery. Grosmont is home to a local shop and two pubs, as well as the famous North York Moors Steam Railway, with vintage engine sheds and carrying upwards of 300,000 passengers a year! The bustling town of Whitby is an easy drive away, home to plenty of attractions, as is the stunning North Yorkshire coastline.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
