Pickering is a historic market town resting on the border of the North York Moors National Park, in easy reach of a wide range of countryside and coastal attractions. The town is an ideal base for holidaymakers, offering a wide range of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as being within close reach of York, Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. The Heritage Coastline is also easily accessible, providing endless walking and unbeatable vistas.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
