Completing the interior is an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas fire. Outside, there is another balcony area and an allocated off-road parking spot. 4 Glenthorne House is a wonderful retreat for enjoying this corner of Devon.

Salcombe is a popular resort town in the South Hams district of Devon, ideal for walkers, families and those alike. Here, you will find two beaches, North Sands and South Sands, as well as the National Trust property Overbeck’s, home to superb subtropical gardens. Within the town itself, there is a wide selection of places to eat, drink and shop. There are plenty of opportunities to try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
