Scarsdale is an immaculate detached property in the village of Crosthwaite, in the Lyth Valley area of the Lake District National Park. The property has four bedrooms; two ground-floor super-king-size doubles with en-suites, a king-size double and a twin, sleeping eight. There is a shower room, a kitchen/diner with a balcony, a utility and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off-road parking on the driveway, as well as an extensive wrap-around lawn with an orchard and a patio with seating. Scarsdale is a luxurious base for a Lake District getaway with loved ones.

Set within the picturesque Lyth Valley is the small village of Crosthwaite, which boasts a lovely gastropub, acclaimed for its excellent food. The lakeside towns of Windermere and Bowness are nearby, along with the popular market town of Kendal, boasting excellent shopping facilities, old cobbled lanes and the stone ruins of its 12th century castle. The National Trust's Sizergh Castle stately home and Elizabethan manor house of Levens Hall are both within easy reach and well worth a visit.
