Outside there is private parking in front of the cottage for one car with additional on-street parking in the village, along with an enclosed rear yard with lockable outbuilding for bike storage and freezer. Stainton is a small village resting on the north-eastern fringes of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. The village is home to a hotel with a pub, a pub and a village shop and Post Office, along with the Alpaca Centre where you can see the animals for free and browse the variety of garments made with their soft, hard-wearing fibres. Nearby is the town of Penrith where Penrith Castle, Castle Park and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants await you.
