Fersit Log Cottage is an inviting log cabin nestled in the small hamlet of Roughburn near Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and twin, along with a bathroom, this cottage can sleep four guests. There is also an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the exterior is a decked area with furniture, 5 seater hot tub and a lawned garden, along with off-road parking for two cars. Fersit Log Cottage is a great choice for those looking to escape to the Scottish Highlands.

The small village of Spean Bridge is located at the southern end of the Great Glen and is best known for its iconic Commando Memorial. Spean Bridge earned its name from the Highbridge over the River Spean and the village today is a scenic holiday base, with transport links heading north to Inverness and south towards Fort William, making an ideal base to explore the Highlands and Cairngorms National Park.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
