Royal Artillery Cottage is a wonderful all ground floor cottage resting on the grounds of Culzean Castle in Maybole, Scotland. There are two bedrooms in the cottage, consisting of a double (zip/link, can be twin on request) and a twin, served by a bathroom, sleeping four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an electric fire. Outside you will find off-road parking for two cars, a courtyard with a bench, 600 acres of woodland and gardens, and three miles of coastline. Royal Artillery Cottage makes a wondrous base for a family or couple seeking a coastal retreat.
Maybole is a charming Scottish town sitting with South Ayrshire in easy reach of the coast and the beautiful Galloway Forest Park. The town hosts a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and more, as well as its 19th century town hall and Maybole Castle being particular marvels. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and watersports in the area too, with a trip to Ayr making a wonderful day out for all.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

You can park at the front door of the cottage for unloading/loading but at other times we ask that you park your car on the opposite side of the courtyard.
