A fantastic location for exploring the Yorkshire moors and coast, Whitby is a picturesque seaside town perched on the northern York shores. Visitors will enjoy resting on Whitby Beach, with its colourful beach huts looking out over the North Sea and seaview cafes. History enthusiasts will benefit from taking the Whitby Cliff Lift up to the town's renowned lighthouses and the ruins of Whitby Abbey, or touring the town's several museums. Popular with walkers, the town is home to 199 Steps, The Cinder Track and backs onto the Cleveland Way.
