It comes with two bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, together sleeping four people and served by a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner with open-fire, a cloakroom and a sitting room with an open-fire. Outside, there is a private garden with furniture and off-road parking for two cars and garage storage. 1 Royal Oak Cottage is a wonderful retreat to enjoy this part of Shropshire. Note: Holidaymakers only, no workers.

Longden is a small village resting in the countryside setting of Shropshire, with Shrewsbury market town just over five miles away. Within the village you will find The Tankerville Arms, a traditional country pub, a local Post Office/shop, a private tennis club, playground park, and a recreational field. Within the surrounding area are a plethora of walking trails and cycle routes and the Shrewsbury market town is a short car ride away.

A E Housman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
