Drybrook is a small village known as a former royal hunting ground situated in the Forest of Dean, home to a selection of shops, pubs, a Post office, butchers and takeaways, as well as nature reserves including Wigpool Common. The Royal Forest of Dean is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a wealth of adventure activities including walking, cycling, horse-riding, caving, ropes, abseiling, kayaking and canoeing. Destinations nearby worth visiting include Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth and Gloucester, with attractions in the area like the River Wye, Goodrich Castle, Marcher Castle, Offa's Dyke and the Wye Valley Walk, and The Severn Estuary. Drybrook is a lovely spot for a rural getaway to this gorgeous area of Gloucestershire, with so many opportunities to visit unspoilt countryside.
