Cadliam is a wonderful ground-floor apartment in a quiet area of Whitby in North Yorkshire. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Patio doors open out to a small outdoor seating area with two folding chairs, while the property has its own designated off-road parking space for one car. Cadliam makes the perfect retreat for exploring this wonderful corner of North Yorkshire.

Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, Whitby is an ancient fishing port steeped in history. The ruin of St Hilda's Abbey is high on Whitby's East Cliff and looks down on narrow streets and alleyways. From the old town, the parish church of St Mary, also on East Cliff, has 199 Steps leading to it and the churchyard was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Other attractions in Whitby include the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet Works and The Dracula Experience. There are year-round events at Whitby Pavilion Complex and there is a blue flag beach and spectacular cliffs and bays to explore. Whitby is in a beautiful region and offers visitors a great deal of variety for a memorable holiday any time of year.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
