Bowes Barn is a modern, stone-built barn conversion located on the outskirts of Ouston, Tyne and Wear. Hosting two bedrooms, including a double and single, plus a bathroom, this cottage can sleep three people. There is also an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. To the outside is a patio area with seating and off-road parking for two cars. Bowes Barn is a tranquil retreat for you and your loved ones.

Settled in the charming County Durham within the North East of England, you will find the delightful village of Ouston. Home to a local newsagents selling all the household essentials, two well-established pubs and a tasty takeaway, this village has everything you could ever need during your stay. Spend a day at the nearby popular living museum of Beamish and learn what life was like in the North East during the 1820's, all the way up to the 1940's. Venture into the city of Sunderland for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat before exploring the magnificent Winter Gardens and wandering the grounds to the 18th-century Hylton Castle. Climb up Penshaw hill to see the imposing Penshaw Monument up close, or why not head in to university city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne where you can spot the Gateshead Millennium Bridge or visit the famous Angel of the North.
