On the first floor, there is also a family bathroom, with a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, double basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen with woodburning stove, a dining room with gas fire, a sitting room with a gas fire, a cinema room, a conservatory and an external games/gym room. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car, a rear enclosed courtyard with table and chairs and fire pit, side garden with ample seating areas with outdoor kitchen area, lawn area with sunken trampoline, and decked area with sheltered hot tub. The Chestnuts is an outstanding retreat to explore the city and its surroundings.

The city is well-known for its 13th-century Cathedral, with its Gothic façade, as well as its countryside walks and nature reserves, catering to all tastes. City highlights include Burghley House, John Clare Cottage and Sacrewell Farm, as well as the historic watermill in the Country Centre. Within the city, you will also find a plethora of shops and a vast array of eateries, including floating restaurants down by the river.
Cambridge is a delight to visit in any season: relax in its many pubs, restaurants and cafes whilst exploring the shops around the historic market place. If you want to get up, out and about, you couldn’t have picked a better county to explore.
