Rusland View is a charming cottage hidden away in the delightful hamlet of Crosslands within the valley of Rusland near Newby Bridge, Cumbria. Boasting a double bedroom with the benefit of an en-suite shower room, this cottage can sleep a total of two guests. The ground floor is home to a cloakroom, kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Stumble upon a gravelled outdoor dining area and off-road parking for two cars to the front of this property. Rusland View is a wonderful retreat for your next holiday to the Lake District with your loved one.

The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge. Visit the Lakeside Hotels and enjoy magnificent views across Windermere and the surrounding fells, or enjoy the Aquarium of the Lakes, where the naturally-themed habitats bring the history of the Lakes vividly to life. Bowness-on-Windermere provides a lovely day out, plus the picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, and admire the views at nearby Gummer's How.
