Croghan is a two-storey bungalow is situated on the peninsula of Fanad, overlooking the Mulroy Bay area, and is nearby to the coastal town of Portsalon in County Donegal, northwestern Ireland. The property hosts four bedrooms, one ground floor master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, one ground floor twin room, one first floor family room with a double and single bed and en-suite shower room, and one first floor family room with king-size bed and twin bed with an en-suite shower room. Also inside the property is a sitting room with an open-fire, a kitchen/diner, one ground floor bathroom with a bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin, and a conservatory-style sitting area. The property has parking. Also included is a private enclosed outdoor area with picnic table and bench area to the rear of the property. Croghan is the ultimate location for a relaxing break to rural Ireland.

Nestled on the western bank of Lough Swilly is the small seaside resort of Portsalon, which is known for one of the top golf courses in Ireland. The town is an ideal base for exploring the Fanad Peninsula, and offers a beach and a harbour at a picturesque harbour at Ballymastocker Bay. There are various outdoor activities visitors can try out in the region, including fishing, golf, kayaking, canoeing, surfing and diving. For those wishing to explore the region's scenery by car, there is the Knockalla Coastal Road which encompasses superb lake and seascapes views.

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
