Captain's Rest is a wonderful, tastefully decorated seaside holiday house, ideal for families who want to be as close to the beach as possible! Situated over three floors, this sea front house is spacious & comfortable with the most fabulous sea views from both sitting rooms. You can step straight out from the front door, across the promenade and onto the beach overlooked by the magnificent castle. "This fabulous house on the seafront in Criccieth is spacious, stylish and we think has the wow factor! Just a short stroll to the shops, restaurants, cafes, beach and castle - the perfect location for a great family holiday!" There are some lovely restaurants in Criccieth, try the Tir A Mor, or newly opened and much revered Dylans - be sure to book well in advance! Cadwaladers ice cream and the best fish n chip shop on the Llyn Peninsula are less than a two minute walk away - well worth a visit!

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
