Twitcher's Rest is a terraced house with sea views, situated on the outskirts of Hartlepool. Boasting two bedrooms, including a double and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep three people. There is also a kitchen and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is an enclosed courtyard and roadside parking available at a first come, first served basis. Twitcher's Rest is a delightful coastal retreat, any time of year. The town of Hartlepool rests on the North Sea coast, 7.5 miles north of Middlesborough and 17 miles south of Sunderland. Hartlepool offers an award winning marina which has seen a huge investment in regeneration projects, with a plenty of trendy restaurants and bars overlooking the coastline. There is also a shopping centre which is the third largest in the north east, a health and fitness centre and a multiplex cinema. Two miles down the coast brings you to the Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted. If you an ardent fan of Brenda Blethyn in Vera you will probably identify a number of places on the Headland and wider afield on Teesside which are used. There is even a day out you can book visiting the places in the North East where the series has been filmed! And before you settle down for the evening, just make sure you are not missing out one of the fabulous sunsets from the promenade. ( The sunrises are just as impressive but that may be too much of an ask! ). Please Note - Smoking and candles are strictly not permitted in the house. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
